Pain after miscarriage Cupcake12 Due April 4; Australia 38 posts

I recently had a miscarriage. I've been bleeding for about 5 days and its starting to slow down.
I have a dull pressure pain in my lower abdomen in the right side and it sometimes is in the left as well. Is this normal? Has anyone had this?
The hospital told me it was a complete miscarriage but I'm just a bit scared. I have seen on a few sites it says its normal to have a full pain in your lower abdomen but I am a little scared.

Normal. Your uterus is shrinking back down as well

Yes I have. I've had about four miscarraiges although all four required a d and c. You've had a complete miscarraige though so you won't need one. Just take it easy for two weeks

When i had mine, they gave me an ultra sound told me it was all clear and told me follow up with my doctor. The next day the doctor told me he wanted me to have a D&C, even tho i was told everything passed. They got me in by telling my family how i would get infected and never become pregnant or die of infection if i didn't get one.
I only really remember the cramping earlier that day which i woke up too, and the brown blood.

Its normal. Of course things are going to hurt! If it continues for awhile though, I'd go back to get it checked out.
