Baby only sleeps in my bed after sunrise (advice please!!) CokiMonsta 1 child; Virginia 341 posts

She's a month old and this started about a week ago where she's completely inconsolable after the sun rises and will cry non stop, especially if put back into her nb sleeper, but the second I lay her in bed she passes out.

I don't want to co sleep...and I don't want this to become a habit but I've tried everything to make her stop crying after the sun comes up and she'll cry for several hours non stop unless I put her in bed. I even put a thick comforter over the window to block out the sunlight and she actually stares at it more now -__-

Any advice????

Try blackout curtains instead of a comforter.

I keep my sons room dark with blinds first then the dark curtains. His room is always like night time unless I open the curtains an shades which I do when he wakes up.
