Your child's dietary needs are something you need to discuss with a doctor, not a message board. If you're worried that they're not wanting to eat you need to address that instead of supplementing it on your own.

My DD is picky... so we give her those Sidekick shakes, and a multi-vitamin... she loves them.

Agreed.

But toddler formula has pretty much the same things as infant formula. Id pick up some pediasure until you can discuss it with her pedi. Try to offer her other things before giving her fruit snacks. Id eat fruit snacks alll day too if I could lol. They're yummy! But they do have alot of sugar in them.

:!:

also sometime parents over exaggerate (not saying you are) however what i mean is that she may be eating more then you feel/see she is. also kids wont starve themselves and can be really picky. Hell my kid is super picky

Obviously I haven't had a chance to talk to her pedi yet, it can take months to even get an appointment.

I wouldn't be associated with a doctor that took months to get in to see unless they were a specialist.

Well don't talk to me like I'm an idiot, I know that I need to talk to her pedi about it but it's not like I can just call her up right now and ask her so I'm looking for solution before I can get into see her.

You posted asking for advice, and the best advice I can give you is that if your daughter isn't wanting to eat (as you said) then that is something you need to bring up with your doctor. She's 18 months old and most vitamin supplement brands don't even recommend giving them to children under two. As for pediasure/toddler formula, only a doctor can tell you what would be the appropriate amount of either to give.

I'm sorry it's not the answer you wanted, but I never had the intention of talking down to you. I was simply giving you the information you needed.

Definitely. I offer her food all the day. I always give her meals at meal time and try to get her to eat healthy snacks in between but she just takes a bite or two and then starts throwing it onto the floor.

My pedi told me to get the Carnation Good Start breakfast powder and just add a teaspoon of it in her milk instead of wasting money on Pediasure. It's like 5 bucks for a large container of it and lasts for months.I would talk to your pedi tho. Or wait it out. It could be a phase.
