What do your toddlers eat for breakfast? What about snacks?
Would you consider a chopped up banana, a half-cup of dry cereal, and a sipper of milk a good breakfast for a child that's slightly under two?
That sound like a good breakfast. When my son was younger I would give him mini pancakes and yogurt for breakfast.
Snacks would be goldfish, cheesesticks, yogurt, applesauce.
Typically oatmeal. Sometimes cut up fruit and eggs.
We never do cereal honestly, most of it is just sugar filled simple carbs, and we don't like milk either (and the kids don't digest it well).
Snacks are usually fruit/veggies.
Either dry cereal or whole grain waffle, a whole banana, and a sippy of milk.
Toast with PB
Bagel w/cream cheese
Her biggest snack are those fruit and veggie baby food pouches, she LOVES thought!
I really try to push fruits like grapes, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, and apples but she always spits them out and throws them on the floor.
She always has water with snacks and 6oz milk with breakfast and we just started 6oz before she brushes her teeth before bed.
She's almost 15 months btw.
She doesn't have a lot of meat in her diet, but she generally gets her protein from eggs or chicken.
Most of her food she just picks at so I'm trying to give her the "best" options for when she does manage to eat. Lol. She's been going through a lot of emotional changes lately and her eating habits have changed a lot.
Well dd will be 2 in October and is just starting to eat solids regularly. She doesn't even nurse during the day anymore! (Except before nap maybe)...anyway she just eat what I eat. We are snackers. We love blueberries, cheese sticks, goldfish, we both just had bagels for lunch with honey walnut cream cheese...she loves broccoli, cous cous, any pasta, chicken or any meat except steal, and she loves salad!
Oh and raisins and grapes! But beware blueberries, raisins and grapes tend to come out very whole in poop. Lol it's nasty

mine mostly eats a banana and some almond milk. she is a light eater after she wakes so i think so
Sounds like a good breakfast to me!
DS usually eats mini pancakes with jam, French toast or oatmeal with his choice of a fruit. For snacks he loves grapes, cantaloupe, strawberries, grape tomatoes and goldfish. Oh, and his occasional "chocolate sandwich" - half of a slice of bread with nutella and blackberry jam.
Thanks for the input everyone! I'm lucky so far that she hasn't exhibited too man signs of being picky over anything, but she eats like a damn bird. Haha.
Her meals used to be toaster waffles or pancakes with fruit but grandma got her into the habit of only liking them with loads of syrup. :x I tried replacing that with preserves but we're backtracking to just fruit, oatmeal, and cereal ATM. I only give her WIC cereals so I'm assuming the ones she eats are good for her.
She loves Goldfish and just about any kind of fruit, and she can go through a whole pack of Craisins in two days if I let her. Lol.
Oh, and two really quick questions while I'm thinking about it!
She drinks two 6-8oz sippers of milk and one full sipper of water and about 1/8 cup juice (really just a splash of it) a day. The rest is all water. What do your toddlers drink throughout the day?
And would you feed your LOs cans of fruit cocktail if you drain and rinse the fruit before giving it to them?
Thanks for the advice! Lol.

Elle loves the dole peaches! I drain the syrup though
