I forgot to mince my garlic cloves. I'm making chicken tortilla soup in the crockpot and I really don't wanna remove the cover and find the garlic. It should be fine to leave it right? Granted, we won't have the garlic pieces in most bites, but yeah... I can't believe I forgot that. Oops. Lol

Yes, I peeled them and everything. Lol. Just forgot to chop it up. This is why I shouldn't skip coffee in the morning.

I would just cook it until it's done, then before serving, try to find the garlic cloves and remove them. The food should still get the garlic flavor from the cloves, but I know I personally wouldn't like to bit into a whole clove of garlic.

No, that wouldn't be fun to eat a whole clove. Lol. Yeah, I'll just find it afterwards. Luckily when scooping out the soup, that should be easy to spot. I knew I was forgetting something too.

They'll soften up a bit and hopefully be able to find when the soup is done cooking.

But yeah, definitely try to locate them. lol I would be traumatized if I bit into a whole clove of garlic

Lol. There's just three cloves so I'm sure it won't be too hard to find. I think the hubby would actually not mind if he did bite into one but, no I'll get it. haha. Just making sure the flavoring won't be off now.

so you just threw them in whole? did you peel them? lol, not sure how you can forget that.

but... yea.. it'll likely be fine. I'd mince some now and add it. Whole cooked garlic is SUPER YUMMY though.. and someone will be lucky to get those bites!
