When I get married can my husband adopt my son? There is no father listed on my sons birth certificate.

Hmm, tricky situation. I'm not even sure of the answer, so my suggestion is to call up a Family Lawyer and ask them.

Okay so from a quick search I believe you need to identify the Child's Bio Father first. Your Husband has to adopt from someone and since there is no Father listed, that needs to be figured out. I wouldn't knowingly put your husbands name on it, because that is illegal. So I guess, determine paternity, then follow the adoption process.

Generally you have to do it with a lawyers help. And it involves putting an ad in the paper for X amount of time and letting the bio father claim him. If he doesn't, then they proceed.

Cool yeah that's something I just read. I just did a google search. Well,damn... Looks like this wont be happening bc I don't can't even speak to BD.
