Sleep through the night?! Allissa Specht 35 kids; Essexville, Michigan 5426 posts

So frustrated. I LOVE my DS2 so much, but really could use some sleep! He turns a year old on the 30th, and still does not sleep through the night. I'm so frustrated with it. He is EBF. I don't know what to do. He goes to sleep about 2 AM (he catnaps from 9PM-2AM) then will sleep for 3-4 hours then is up for the day by 8 AM. This leaves me with only a couple hours of sleep, and it's catching up to me. Help!!!!

When you find the secret. Tell me. My 9 month old is the exact same. If I try to lay down with him earlier he just screams because he wants to get up & play. My sleep schedule is fucked & I'm due with my 2nd in january lol.

Do you have a bedtime routine? Have you tried putting him to bed earlier? DD was like and still is she goes to bed around 9-10pm and wakes up several times to breastfeed I haven't been able to do anything about it we co-sleep so its easier for me. DD is now 23 months.

I can't. We have tried but he won't have it and with the other two kids, earlier just won't happen.

He gets one nap a day. We have coslept up until now, but would also like to get him into his own bed. My husband and I would like to be able to sleep together again, it's been over a year since that was possible.
