Quoting rainbow mama:" Ive been really slacking on posting in here or even coming on BG. Had my first appointment and they didn't ... [snip!] ... then it'll be the best birthday present I could ask for. In other news morning sickness, heartburn and fatigue suck majorly"

Congrats on your pregnancy! I know it is so frustrating when the doctor doesn't give you the information you are looking for...but on the plus side, you get to have an ultrasound on your birthday! How exciting! I hope it all goes well for you! Keep us updated! :)

I will :) As of right now Im using April 17th as my EDD that way if u/s shows that baby is measuring right around the 8 week mark I won't panic and if they move my due date up to March its a pleasant surprise.

OMG Yes, I always am afraid I am going to pass out, especially at work or when I am running around after my boy. My son was born on Mother's Day, May 13th. :-) I can't imagine how much it's going to wear me out running after two little ones, but I am soooo excited. It took a year to get pregnant with my DS, this time only a month! Keeping fingers crossed that it's a sticky baby, esp. since I feel so sick!

Can anyone please tell me why I can't get the tickers to show up on my profile??? What am I doing wrong? I get the code, copy and paste it, and all it shows is the code. :-(

Also wondering, anyone else going for a VBAC???? I am really really hoping to. The emergency c sec with my son really messed me up. I still have nightmares. I am very overweight though, but my doc says we'll just watch and see how I do.

I want one but I wont know until February if I can have one or not. They want to see how my incision holds up.

That's the worst can you make some ginger tea or suck on ginger candy. Thats the only thing I find relief in.
*hugs!

Yes! So funny, both of ours will be so close! I am hoping for a GIRL. Honestly I never wanted a boy, of course now that I have one I am not returning him, lol. He's my little angel, but a girl would be a blessing as well! I've read your story, very inspiring Momma. I am so happy you were able to find your little girl! What are you hoping for with this one? Bet you are over the moon! Good luck!

Thank you :) I honestly don't think I'm going to be allowed to have one though...I've put on 80lbs since my daughter was born and I'm afraid nobody will even let me try since first time vaginal births (especially with overweight women) have a hard time getting their body to progress...or so my doctor says :?

I feel better today. Even my boss noticed I had better color. Maybe it was because I slept last night. I was even able to eat a sandwich, chips, and a soda at lunch without getting gaggy. :) I think it was just by luck though!
First OB appointment tomorrow and my perinatology appointment is Tuesday. Yay!

I've read lots of birth blogs that had overweight women having VBACS even homebirth VBACS. I personally feel like it should be based on the mother and not a generalized thing. I hope you get your VBAC though. I put on 60lbs during my last pregnancy and Im a very small person 5'0 exactly. Im scared of how this pregnancy will be or if I could have a homebirth. I did lose some weight now Im at 176 but Im still very obese for my height.
