I already know I will prolly get some prissy advice but that's okay. My dr prescribed me clomid awhile back and we got pregnant on the very first cycle except I switched it up &took it days 1-5 instead of 5-9. Well we miscarried with that baby and got the okay that as soon as AF came I could try again, well she came and I took my second round and nothing. This is my last months worth and AF started a couple hours ago and I'm not sure if I should try days 1-5 like normal or try 2-6. With my daughter I also took clomid but as normal days 5-9 the first two months and nothing than the month we got pregnant with her I took it says 1-5. We've had a really good outcome switching it up, I'm just nervous as it is the last month, so my question is what days have you taken and what were your results.? Also what mg.? I'm currently on 50, TIA :)

i was always TOLD to take it days 5-9 - as perscribed by my doctor. taking it on other days can increase risk of multiples and complications. this pregnancy I was on 50mg while trying - it resulted in one miscarriage and one term pregnancy. I was up to 100mg to get pregnant with my son. always on days 5-9 only one miscarriage out of the 5 were on clomid.

I'm on 50mg and it was prescribed to me to take on cycle days 3-7. I'm still waiting to take a pregnancy test but I know I did ovulate on it on CD18.

3-7 or 5-9. I wouldn't take any other protocol. You don't want to mess with your egg quality.
