I didn't think so too. But there must be different types

Its getting so frustrating! Especially when they say, " oh but I thought you would go early for sure", "you're gonna pop any minute ", or " you're so low you must be very close"

Like no shit. I've thought all of that too which in the end means dick. They checked me and I am still barely 1cm, cervix still posterior.

Sure they did not get it wrong hun? I just looked it up

"Lochia refers to vaginal discharge during the postpartum period. (The term comes from a Greek word that means "relating to childbirth.") It consists of blood, sloughed-off tissue from the lining of the uterus, and bacteria."

So says it also has blood in it?

I think the midwife must have used the wrong word for it because I looked it up too.

I know I do have thrush. It's been a problem since about 16 weeks and I am constantly treating it with no effect. My dr said hopefully after pregnancy it will respond to the treatment but at the moment I can't do anything other than what I have been doing. The midwife said that sometimes with thrush that is really high up( like mine) it can cause a completely clear discharge that is watery with no smell. So it's discharge but she called it lochea.

It just confused me because I felt this pop sensation an I was laying down and it gushed then I stood and it gushed more. By the time I got to the toilet it was running down my legs. It definitely wasn't pee though because it was clear and when I went to the toilet it was yellow ( dehydrated first thing in the morning).

But on the plus side this morning I did have my show and lost what must be all of my plug. It was huge.

Fingers crossed this LO comes by his due date!

When I went in last week thinking my water broke, cause I had clear liquid running down my leg, I could push out liquid too....even did it on the table when they said it wasn't my water.

They said it was just vaginal secretions lol

No one ever told me it could happen. Same with me, if I pushed down more would come.
