Has anyone done a no carb diet? has it worked?. My sons first birthday is coming up so after that im gonna start a no carb diet and see how it goes. I just wanted to see if anyone else has done it and had great results from it?

it works but there asre two main bad things-



-a lot of times it causes gallbladder problems because of too muc-h fat in your diet.
-once you eat carbs again, you gain the weight back.

Im on a low carb diet because its super hard for me to do a no carb diet. Theres not many things out there with no carbs. Ive lost 15 lbs in a few weeks. Im also on Metformin though. Most meats have 0 carbs :) (even bacon yumm) and I think its easier to find drinks with no carbs. Good luck :)

A friend of mine did it. She lots a ton of weight. Then when she stopped and started eating regularly she blew up twice the size she was before. Then when she tried doing it again she started passing out and having all kinds of issues. I wouldn't recommend it.

It can also give you heart issues. Just eat healthy and exercise.

I lost 30lbs in 2 months when I did a low carb diet. I wouldnt do a NO carb diet. Its very dangerous. You need at least 50(i think thats the right number) carbs a day according to my doctor.
I ended up being hospitalized for a few day because I did no carbs for a week.

IMO it's not generally healthy at all.



Low carb is one thing. No carb is another. Low carb can still allow a variety of veggies adn eventual fruit. No carb does not allow these things. No carb wouldn't even allow cheese or most things. There isn't a lot with no carb, and eating only those things doesn't give a good variety of nutrients IMO.

I've been on a low carb diet and I have seen great results. I don't eat carbs after 3pm either. Don't cut out all carbs, complex carbs are like spinach and zucchini are good for you.

That'll work temporarily. Then once you stop you'll blow up.




You need carbs for a reason, unless you're cutting to get jacked up or something.

Metformin made me SO sick. I was on it for diabetes but they switched me to glimepiride
