Hello, I have had a history of miscarriages so I have been getting sonos every two weeks with this pregnancy. The one I had at 6 weeks put my DD at April 6th but the one I had at 8 weeks put my DD at April 3rd. My dr was sick on my 8th week appointment so I won't talk to him again until about another week and a half and the sonographer said she didn't know if he would keep it at April 6th or April 3rd. Not a huge deal, it's only 3 days apart and babies come when they are ready but I was just curious what you all thought or if any of you have had a similiar thing and what DD they went by. Thanks.
They'll probably go with the DD you got at your 6 week US since there's only three days difference.
Babies are ALL different, even in utero. 3 days is not a big deal. I know 100% when I conceived, and she was still measuring ahead each ultrasound. I had her a week before her first EDD. Due dates are just an estimate. It's just the time they will come around. Could be 2 weeks before, could be 2 weeks after (though some doctors don't let you go over 10 days).
He will probably keep the originial due date. 3 days isn't a big deal so I doubt he will change it. Every single one of my ultrasounds measured off.
EDD for DS
LMP: August 1st
15 week US: July 19th(this is the one we stuck with my entire pregnancy)
19 week US: July 24th
21 week US: July 20th
24 Week(ER visit): July 8th
32 week US: July 15th
He was born via induction July 27th
I had a dating ultrasound at 6 weeks and then a NT scan at 12 weeks. I was measuring out 4 days ahead on the 12 week scan but my doctor kept my due date from the 6 week scan. I don't think they will change your due date unless there is like a 2+ week difference.
