Yeah, you're right, obviously I'm just paranoid of hospital interventions and cervical checks.
Hope baby's strong and healthy!

My doctor will check my cervix because I was starting to dilate when I was 29weeks.. so it's been 4weeks and I am having strong contractions.. I've been having contractions every 2-3minutes and he knows that.. I've kept him updated all the way.. He's probably kept a line open for me because all I said it's Whitney and he'd be on the phone within 30seconds of me calling. I'm just scared.. at 31weeks Jensen only weighed 3lbs and I'm hoping he's at least up to 4lbs now.... I know there's nothing else I can do but trust the doctor's, nurse's, and god. We will see what happens.

Thank you guys. No little boy yet.. It is a waiting game right now. In the hospital pretty much until he comes unless they decide otherwise which is unlikely.. He is doing great right now his heart rate is 165-170 no showing any distress with contractions as of now. They are keeping a close eye on him and myself if he starts being in distress then they are going to help things along. I haven't slept much but those of you that know how contractions feel it's kinda hard to sleep with them. I've made it almost 24hours with no pain medicine or anything to help. I'm refusing as long as I can. Thanks for all the support. Will update when I can. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend.

Thanks just in A LOT of pain. But my SO has brought things here to take my mind off it. He just bought The Great Gatsby so I'm going to try to watch that and not think about these damn painful contractions. My son's movements have also gotten way more powerful/painful. Just trying to not get pain medicine to help. I hate feeling out of it and not in control.. so we will see what happens.

I had to get a mild one with my daughter so I could get some rest.... They might be able to give you a sleeping pill.... They did me at first but the pain over powered that.... So you are stronger then me.... I eventually got a epidural when I was at a 6 because I couldnt handle the pain or seeing my mom in so much pain because I was in so much pain.... 30 minutes later my baby girl was here :D

Oh I've had an epidural with my last son at 3cm because my doctor broke my water then and my contractions were one on top of another with no break to catch my breath and my heart was starting to get over worked. So the doctor said I had no choice that it was either that or c-section. I chose to not get cut open...Figured the epidural was the lesser of two evils.. I will most likely get one with Jensen as well. but I am not getting it now and have a chance of him not coming for days or a week or more no thank you. If it gets way too bad or they say my body needs a break then I may let them give me nubain or however it's spelled. It all depends.

Glad to hear he's still baking for at least a little while longer, but I'm sorry you're in pain! Try to rest as much as possible! :)
