How long did your child army crawl before they began actually lifting themselves up and crawling? My daughter has been army crawling back and forth across my living room all morning! lol It gets better every day.
DD used to pull herself with her arms. She did it for 3ish months. Started cruising furniture and standing on her own at 9-10 months then started full on crawling then walking .

about two months for Dex. but he didn't go from army crawling to crawling. He went from the seated position to crawling :) if that makes sense? :)
A couple of months. He started army crawling at like 5 months and crawled on all fours by 8 months.
My DS never really crawled. He prefered to army crawl. But he went from sitting to walking along furniture if he really wanted to get somewhere before he could walk.
Hm. Well she's 7 1/2 months and just started this. She always rolled everywhere lol we could put a toy on the ground and she would literally just roll over to it, or anything else she wanted so the fact that she's actually attempting some form of crawling makes me happy :)
DD1 never really crawled, she went straight to cruising and walking.
DD2 is 7 months and has been army crawling for 2ish months. She'll crawl once in awhile.
DD army crawled for like a month before she was up on hands and knees. Then she started cruising around the same time she started crawling (7is months) but didn't walk until she was 11 1/2 months even though she could stand from sitting without help for a few months because crawling was faster lol. When she did finally walk though she ditched crawling all together.
Thank you for all your input ladies! :)
