The past 5 ish days a few times a day for about 10 mins I feel like I can't breath or catch my breath and then I can feel my heart pounding. .. should I be worried or is it normal? Also this morning I woke up feeling sick to my stomach and it hasnt stopped

well you gotta think... as the baby grows its pushing everything out of its way so it could be putting pressure on your lungs

I have this too. This is my 3rd pregnancy but the first time I have experianced this. I feel like I am suffocating and my heart feels like it's racing. I talked with my OB about it and she referred me to a Cardiologist but only due to family heart history. I had a few tests ran and he did explain to me that a lot of pregnant women have this. So it was actually normal. He did run further testing only because of my family history with heart problems. Everything checked out fine :)

Best way I deal with it is to drink cold water and place my hands behind my head with my arms up. Seems to allow more room to breath during the "episode."

There's been a few times in the last couple weeks where I feel like I can't take a deep breath. Usually if I get up or change my position it will go away within a few minutes. Baby is just getting big and pushing on things.

I've been going through this daily for weeks because he's sitting so high. I had it happen once at the doctor while he was checking my bp and hb and he asked me how I felt because my bp was 90 over 85 (weird for the two numbers to be so close) and my hb was 110 (normally 70) he said I was tacky but there's nothing that can be done for that except delivery.
