I just thought you weren't supposed to do the tattoo thing while pregnant or breastfeeding.

I thought you weren't supposed to do that because of the risk of infection. :?

Meh. I guess there are worse things. If you're going to a reputable tattoo artist, you know they're clean... ect.

I didn't think kids under 18 could be in tattoo parlors much less sitting in the chair with the person getting tattoo'd.

As far as bf'ing while getting tattood seriously? That shit couldn't have waited? Isn't there a risk of passing infection to the baby through breastmilk if this woman was to get an infection?

I still wouldn't do that.. What would happen if the baby decided to play with the machine? Kids are quick and she is short an arm.

I'd have no problems with that in an establishment monitored by the health department. The risk of infection is really low in a legit tattoo shop. Now if it were in someones garage with no regulation, no way.

My son was in the parlor with me when I got my tattoo, I think he was 4 weeks old.

I don't know the statistics for infection, but I'm willing to bet its right around the same level as things like listeria from deli. Now I'm gonna look it up cause I'm curios. If it's not a huge issue though, then I see no problem whatsoever with this picture.

I mean the risk of infection is low but I still wouldn't risk it, not to mention your hormones are still not back to normal and it can effect the way the tattoo turns out.

I honestly don't see the huge deal about bringing a baby into a tattoo shop. I probably wouldn't hold my kid on my lap while getting tattooed, but bringing them in with me...meh.

Maybe it is just here in NC my daughter was not allowed to be in the building when I got my tattoo.
