I have a pack n play from my last baby that I'd like to use again, but its been packed away in storage so it needs cleaned. I'd like to soak it then clean it but I'm not sure what will disinfect and will be safe for baby?

We just use organic cleaners on everything for DS.

I scrubbed DD's with clothes soap then took it outside and hosed it off with the water hose when we took it out of storage for LO. Hung the pad over the clothes line and let everything dry in the sun. Normally though I just wipe it down with weak bleach water once in a while when I feel like it's getting gross.

And now I'm thinking about cleaning ours.. It looks clean but we pulled it from our outside storage. Any idea how long it takes to dry?

Lol. Umm fairly sunny and warm. And do I scrub it? And do I towel dry before I put it outside? Now I'm all paranoid that ours is super dirty and I'm about to pop and it won't be dry in time! Lol.

I haven't done it yet, but I imagine on a sunny day, it'd dry ok outside! I'd soak it in a tub with just water afterwards to make sure there isn't soap leftover.

Also you mattress may have cardboard, you wouldn't want to soak that, just spot clean with a damp rag.
