If you were only going to need to pump once in a while, would you spend the money to buy an electric pump or just go with a good hand pump? If you use a hand pump, suggestions for good ones? The reviews for the Medela Harmony are pretty good. If you have that one, do you like it? Thanks ladies!

I use the Medela harmony, I love it. I was also given an ameda one-hand manual pump by a lactation consultant, which I love too. Those would be my recommendations. Not worth the $ for an electric if its not going to be used often, I would say.

This was my thought. I do plan to go back to work one of these days but until then I just don't see the point.
