Get this baby out of me!!! Photo Assassin 67 kids; Louisville, Kentucky 1666 posts

I really wish all those tricks worked.

I am almost positive hes going to be like my last, and I will end up with yet another induction.

I have been stuck at 3cm for WEEKS! DH and I have been having sex like crazy-of course-still 14 days away, I know, but come on already!

I walk until I can't breathe, brings on horrendous BH that almost instantly stop when I sit down.
I have climbed up and down stairs, I even ran up the stairs. Again, just really bad BHs.
Had sex, I have stimulated my nipples so much, that they're now numb. I have tried my standby vibrator-that I can no longer orgasm-as THAT alsi has caused me to go numb.
Bounced on the corner of the bed, rocked and swayed my hips, massaged every known 'pressure' point, only to put more pressure on my cervix (good thing I know!)-but only for him to squirm back up in my lungs. *sigh*

Spicy foods?!-did that. Didn't even cause a twinge, let alone trigger my intestines to contract.

If it wasn't for going into PTL at 28 weeks-I honestly wouldn't *hope* labor to be around the corner. Again, this is what DD to me, so why shoukd I be surprised?

Calm down Mommah! It'll be over soon. You got about 3 weeks left.

Nothing is gonna make the baby come unless he/she is ready!

Just sit back and enjoy remainder of your pregnancy~

(sigh) I know...its what I keep telling myself. It doesn't help that my OB says, "just need to get to 4-5cm and we can help things along. But-I got styck at 3cm last time. And I ended up going to almost 42 weeks before I finally waved my flag and had an induction.

I really want to do this natural (no meds, no interference)-but just like we ALL do-I am getting impatient.

Totally understandable! Has your doc tried doin a membrane sweep to try to help things move along?

It's natural to be frustrated! At least you're doing all the "right" things. Like the other poster said, nothing will make that baby come out, but you're certainly helping your body along.

I say keep up the sex and things like that because that'll at least be some relief for you.

Statistically speaking (I know every pregnancy is different), the second baby generally comes earlier! So you never know what'll happen at this point.

Labor dust labor dust, you're on your way to a healthy new baby! GL!

I've start doing this and I'm only 35 weeks. Uggh. Our AC was on the fritz all week and I swear I just wanted to lock the door and lay on the bed naked all day. It's already starting to get rough on me so I'm sure I'll be reading to just roll over and die at 38 weeks.

have you tried castor oil? It will make you have diarrhea but will cause contractions. it tastes DISGUSTING but you can mix it with a shake or scrambled eggs. im 37 weeks too.. but my scheduled c section isnt til another 17 days. im hoping i go into labor soon and have my c section then. good luck!!

Its been in the upper 90s for the past few weeks. I can only last 20 minutes at a time outside before I feel like I am going to pass out.
We are *supposed* to get a cool down (in the mid 80s) this week, so I am going to go for my brisk walks. Thinking of actually waking up EARLY to take advantage of the 70+ degree weather before 7am.

The castor oil thing terrifies me. DD expelled her meconium in utero (given she was almost 42 weeks)-and I have heard it can cause them also yo have loose bowels.

Of course she hasn't. She isn't an idiot.

If you know for SURE that you're having a C-Section in only 17 days, then why would you try to force it?

Going into labor before a C-Section is so incredibly stressful on your body and the baby. You barely have to go to 40 weeks, you need to chill.

My DD was 4 days over. With My DS everyone kept saying he is going to come early. I thought so too because of all the pregnancy complicarions that were happening in my pregnancy. He stuck it out to 41 weeks on the dot despite my interventions of acupressure, food, walking, etc...its hard to wait.

I feel you mama.. I'm having a RCS in 61 hours.. But who's counting? I tried so hard to get my body moving until my blood pressure was up and they detected that baby's heart rate was slowing down with my contractions and I ended up at home on bedrest. Gonna pull my hair out.. ahhh

You know Castor Oil can cause the baby to have a bowel movement in utero right?

OP I'm so sorry. I remember how crappy it was to have a baby up in my lungs! Hopefully your LO decides to make their grand appearance soon!!

Calm down you still have a few weeks left.
I was 1cm for 3 weeks. I was due on August 8th, went to my appointment on the 6th, was still 1ish cm... I was sure I was going to go overdue.... My water broke the next morning at 9am... had the baby at 5:47p one day before my due date. You still have time, ((fingers crossed)).
