The God part of the self? Lucid Dreamer Florida 3817 posts

Do you think it is possible that there is a part of the self within all of us that is a piece of God? I have long stopped believing that the creator is a separate entity from us who observes and judges but is rather a part of our being and our being a part of God. Basically I believe all life no matter the form are sons of God. If you believe God exists do you believe that we are parts of God or are we just mere creations from God that can be destroyed?

I think we all have a spark of the divine in us.

Yes, I believe all forms of life have the higher power flowing through them simultaneously, if that makes sense...but that's just me.

Yep, we are part of God and God is part of us. You should watch the documentary "Three Magic Words" on Netflix. Totally changed my perspective on things. We are all connected by the divine. I truly believe that is what Christ was trying to teach us.

I believe that God is in all of us. I dont believe that makes us part God or goddess though. I believe we are God's creations and he lives in all of us. But we are human and we can be destroyed. Does that make any sense?

Im Pagan, so I believe everything is the Goddess/God and we are everything at once.

But also that the Goddess is a seperate form in a way, just a bigger collection of energy that you pray/send energy to and it flows back to us.

Kinda like a stream that connects to the ocean

I believe the human self is not the true self. The true self has always been alive and that is the part that cannot be destroyed.

I dont believe God created us, we have always been, he just created our Temporal bodies to home our spiritual selves so that we can learn and grow so that we can one day become like him. I think he bestowed upon us before coming here spiritual gifts of his that enable us to accomplish that.
