Boy names? Pick one! Peyton'sMommy♥ 1 child; Springfield, Ohio 16806 posts

I really love both names, the only reason I don't like Jackson as much is because I don't want people to think I got it off of SOA. I actually fell in love with the name after watching Steel Magnolias. I bawl like a baby everytime I watch it. But I love the name sooo pick one.

(And no I'm not pregnant but I did get DH to say he would be okay with Elliot. WIN!) We can never agree on boy names, girl name is already set. lol

I like both of them a lot, but I'm going to have to go with Jackson since Elliot reminds me of Bill Elliott.

Jackson is ridiculously overused right now so if that's something that bothers you I wouldn't use it. I know, no exaggeration, 6 people who have named their babies Jackson or Jaxon in the last year and a half. That's not including the dozens I've seen on here that are or have recently used the name as well.

Elliot is definitely less popular, but it's on the rise I think.

That being said, if neither of those things are issues for you, I'd go with Elliot. I'm seeing it pop up a lot for girls and it's nice to see it suggested for a boy.

Dh is on board for Elliot, but not for Jackson plus I don't want another too popular name Peyton's already really popular. Lol.

I voted Jackson but I prefer the x spelling.
Me and SO can't agree on any names so have decided to wait till we know the sex to start properly thinking, but he did say he likes the name river for a girl which I originally picked.
What's the girls name you have picked?

Sophia Lynn will be the only girl name. I know Sophia's popular right now but I love it, plus my other pick was Paige and Peyton and Paige are too matchy for me.

Lol. I wanted to go another name with x if we have another boy, I love Maddox but SO hates it and I love phoenix which he thinks is ok. I really wanted Harper for girl but he hates that too :(

We agreed on Pey's name but not his middle. And luckily we figured out the boy name.
