..... So far we have both like Brody ( if baby is a girl ) and I really like Oakley ( if baby is a boy ) My DH hasn't said yes or no on this one yet. We want names that won't be the same as all the other children when they start school. We'd like to choose a middle name like maybe after a grandparent..... Good thing we have just over 5 month to choose.
Any other ideas you mamma have feel free to let me know :)
Brody is a boys name and Oakley reminds me of annie Oakley so I would think that would be a girls name
Brody is a boys name. Don't try to argue that it's unisex. It's not
And Oakley is makes me think it is a girls name. Annie Oakley and all that.
Oo thought Brody could be used for both.... Maybe do it the other way then :)
When she starts school she probably won't be then only kid named Brody, but she will be the only girl with that name. Brody is very masculine for a little girl. What about similar names?
Never thought about that, now you mammas saying it's a boys name got me thinking. I am more than happy to switch. Oakley for a girl and Brody for a boy ( more I think about it the more it sounds manly ) :s
Brody is a boys name, Oakley I wouldn't ever use for either.
Alfonso for a boy, Alfonsa for a girl.
The more I think about it Brody does sound manly so Brody for a boy and Oakley for a girl........ Thanks mammas for the head shake on that :)
Quoting *And baby makes 4!*:" Brody is a boys name and Oakley reminds me of annie Oakley so I would think that would be a girls name"
I was thinking this as well...
