Seriously, you've got to read this. I am completely baffled. Not sure what to say. I will ask, did these people not read the information about IVF? Would they still have been "pissed" if they conceived twins naturally?
The nerve of some people. There are couples struggling, praying, wishing, hoping for babies. This couple gets blessed with two and they're "pissed".

I read that earlier & I was disgusted.
eh.. I get it *shrug*
I would be pretty upset if I got pregnant with twins. They WERE struggling to conceive, can you not read? That's why they did IVF. :?
My boss used ivf they are told the ticks of having multiples. The doctor even asks you how many (if you even have any) good fertilized eggs you want placed. My boss only asked for two and only one took. She's now 24 weeks pregnant. But that couple knew the Rick of multiples. It makes me made.
And them saying they're scared they won't be able to afford 2 babies. Is such bull. Ivf isn't a cheap procedure. And they got that. Just saying
How sad that they feel that way, I mean i get it if they said they were scared but pissed.. I just don't get it.

True, but it is common knowledge that procedure can result in multiples.
They WERE struggling :? They were just scared & nervous. Most first time parents are. I would have been furious if I had gotten pregnant with twins with my first pregnancy(mainly because DH told me if I conceived twins-because I have a high chance of doing so-that we wouldn't have anymore children no matter what their sexes were)because thats alot to handle. bash all you want but for some people, twins are hard as hell to handle for people that have NO experience with children at all.
I didn't think it was that bad... they were letting out their fears, frustrations and just venting....Yes they knew the risks and i'm sure things will be different once the boys arrive. I dont' see it too much different than gender disappointment.
I can understand why they would feel that way, but I would think you would know your chances of conceiving twins or more to be very likely with IVF so you really have no right to be that angry imo.
eh, just b/c they wanted a baby does not necessarily mean they should be overjoyed with 2
I know they were struggling.
But didn't they at least read up on IVF?
I guess I don't understand because I think children are a blessing. *shrug*
Quoting Destinite:" True, but it is common knowledge that procedure can result in multiples."
Common knowledge? My friend was told it was a slightly higher risk when she went through IVF, and that it can take multiple tries to get pregnant. I get why the posters are upset. I get it. One kid is hard enough, a singleton pregnancy is a pain in the ass. I would be afraid. Pissed was not the right word for the posters, but I don't blame them.
