I had anxiety issues before I got pregnant, but it wasn't anything I couldn't manage myself.
Now, almost 21 weeks, I feel like it's through the roof. And thunderstorms make it worse (always have) and we've been having a lot lately. I'm not afraid of them, I know the science behind them, it's the energy in the air puts me on edge.

My question, how did you get through your pregnancy if you have/had anxiety issues? Natural methods, medication, just deal with it?
I've made it this far, but I don't think I can go much longer because I only see it getting worse. I see my doctor on the 16th, so obviously I'll ask about it then. Just looking for ideas and options.

I am trying to figure this out too. I am always nervous, 10x worse since getting pregnant. I feel like I have no patience either & that part is what really bothers me having a 9.5 month old

It's bad. We have a thunderstorm passing through right now, and it's got me shaking.

Kolton's mama, who do you feel with the buspar? Any side effects?

Good question. I am also curious as this pregnancy has my anxiety level through the roof and I also have NO patience whatsoever. It's so bad sometimes I don't even want to leave my own house bc I am so anxious. I keep forgetting to ask my dr though, dang it. I just know that some of the anxiety meds I have been on in the past for anxiety attacks are a BIG no no for pregnancy.

Honestly I have only taken it twice.... both times were before bed. The first time I think it helped me sleep and the second time I didn't kno a difference... but she said I should take it before bed in case it does make me sleepy. She also said I shouldn't have side effects other than that if any

Thank you.
My appointment is the 16th, but I'm driving to PA on the 25th. So I don't really want to have to worry about anything for my trip.

Can you take it while breastfeeding? Also, is it sold in stores?

Ok, well they are great about sending samples. So you can go online and ask to try it. You can order it online if you find that you feel a real difference. It has been working for me. I just began working for them about a week ago...love everything in their catalog.

Besides calling a store or just going to look, is there a way I can find out if my locals carry it?
