What are some good at home remedies for jaundice? I know nursing as much as possible and window time during the day, anything else?

Also, is it normal for her to spit up when I burp her? My son never did so I'm a little lost. And then she wants to nurse again. And she'll sleep for over four hours at a time if I let her (which makes the jaundice issue worse)

I totally feel like a new mom even though I'm not. Lol.

Just nurse. Nurse nurse nurse. Don't let them pressure you into supplementing with formula. I haven't had a child that isn't a spitter.

Nurse! Nurse! Nurse!

Block feeding helps you build more fat content..so try nursing just off one side per feeding. Wake her up! She needs to nurse every two hours atleast! Strip her and stimulate her to keep her awake.

A little spit up is totally normal..if shes spitting up alot you may want to lessen your dairy.

She only had one ounce of formula in the hospital and that's cuz she wouldn't sleep cuz she was starving. The rest has been me :) but thanks for the info. My son was supplemented more than what she has been and if he spit up it was more like projectile vomit. Lol.

They gave me crap for supplementing but after her fussing and nursing and crying for 5 hours I knew I was dry. Gave her formula and she slept for 4 hours immediately. And she just gave daddy a nice present. Lol.

I wish they were more pushy on my breastfeeding. I was a mess and couldn't calm down after I had her.
