I give up this month. I'm still getting BFNs and I'm probably 14 dpo by now give or take. Not even faint lines. I really thought we had caught it this month because I'm STILL having so many symptoms and have been for over a week now with no AF yet.

HOWEVER, I WILL get pregnant next month. For sure. It has to happen. I'm determined to be 15ish weeks around our family christmas vacation thingamabob.

It's funny... Our son was an accident and I wasn't planning on having any children until 30ish (I was about to turn 24... way early). I was taking the pill religiously when I got pregnant but failed to realize the epilepsy meds I take can compromise it as they are both processed in the liver in a specific way and the b.c. gets altered as a result... or something sciency like that. Anyway, when he was about a year old my husband and I tried for two months to get pregnant to no avail. We had sex constantly and I was tracking my ovulation like it was a damn criminal with a $50,000 reward. The days I saw smiley faces my husband became my slave. I was just SURE I would get pregnant since my body was able to say, "Eff you, birth control!" and conceive anyway.

Nope... Absolutely nothing.

It worked out in the end because now we realize we want our children to be about three or four years apart but it was still disappointing.

So now I'm convinced that the harder you try, the less pregnant you're gonna get. (Yes, it can happen. One can be only a little pregnant... It's just with baby fever and insanity instead of a behbeh.)

Good luck, OP!

Truth. I got pregnant with dd on the pill (thank antibiotics!) no such luck now, although I knew it wouldn't be easy because I haven't had a pp period and my body blows! It's still dissapointing though. Makes me realize how special dd really is

With my son we tried for 6 years. I had given up. A month before I found out I was pregnant, I started printing out adoption information. We just happened to take an O test that day because I felt a twinge. I had the flu really, really bad though that day and I cried because I was just way to sick for bd of any sort. That's why he used a soft cup instead. I just couldn't let it go as it was my first positive O test in years. We hadn't bd'd for two weeks before or after so I know that's when I conceived.

I was kinda hoping this time I would be rewarded for all that patience (or lack of?) and get pregnant on the first month trying. Oh well. Next month. Gonna happen.
