growth spurts?? *~AngelEyes~* 2 kids; 1 angel baby; Memphis, Tennessee 5664 posts7th Sep
I'm not sure, but either DS isn't getting enough, he's wanting to just comfort nurse, or he's going through a growth spurt... but about every time I feed him, about 30 minutes to an hour later, he's crying to eat again. Of course, he does have his times where he goes two or three hours, sometimes longer (like when he sleeps at night) between feedings... I'm not sure WHAT is going on. He is breastfed, by the way. Sometimes I feel like I'm not making enough milk, but he's gaining weight like he should be, so I know for a fact that is NOT the case. Could he be going through a growth spurt now? He's two months and four days old now...

Could be. As long as he's having enough wet diapers you shouldn't worry. DD fed every 30 minutes to an hr around 2 months.

Same with my DD. Every 30 mins she was on the b**b. Sounds like a normal stage or something.

My daughter went through that when she was around that age. It will pass.

Growth spurts at 2-3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months - ish. Atleast according to my midwife. So far DS has always been clusterfeeding around those ages.

Yep growth spurt and yes it s***s :) Lol. I do NOT miss those days of breastfeeding. Sometimes I felt like my nipples would fall off because of how much they were wanting to eat and I remember dreading each feeding bc I felt like I had JUST gotten done feeding them. It will pass though.
