I miss having seasons. Its been hot since like march. I miss fall. In mi its starting and here? Its still 100 freaking degrees. I am miserable in this state. I miss the pretty colors, the lower temps. I miss snow, even though it isnt winter yet. I dont think it will be the same going to a cider mill/apple orchard. Fuck this state. Once SO gets more welding experience, and custody figured out, i swear i am moving north east. Tennessee or North Carolina. Somewhere beautiful. SO would love to live in TN too. I hate the people,90% of them are 2 faced assholes.
I am ranting, but this place isnt like home, and will never be home. I can barely take little girl out to play in the grass because of the bugs and spiders. I hate it here.

Lol don't move towards Kentucky, it sucks here too. It doesn't know what season its in. The past week it's been 94+ and here the weather channel keeps saying falls coming soon (like a month ago) ..... We will see when it does calm down.. If it does!

I'm sorry hun.

Have you gotten together much with Mom's there? Maybe some locals will help you figure out how to fit in better.

Not having seasons is tough, but try to remember the upsides too. It can make it easier to deal with. No ever getting snowed in. Being able to go outside and do stuff almost all year long because there is little snow/rain. There are advantages too, and remembering them can make it easier to handle the negatives.

I've lived my entire life somewhere with "no seasons," in that it almost never snows and is warm to hot all year long, lol. I'm used to it, but I know a lot of people hate it.

No, and its not for lack of trying. SO is so sad forme not rreally having anyone here. Ive met a few people, but they never got ahold of me.
He had the choiceto move here or tn. I told him to come here bc his son is here. He would have gone to the psych ward if he went any longer not seeing his son. So when he gets more welding experience and takes the journeymans test. We are out of here. I walk daily to keep busy and exercise but i still miss seasons.

one of hte most beautiful places ive ever lived is Rhode Island... currently we live in maine, which is wonderful , not quite as beautiful as rhode island, but the people are so friendly and REAL (well, as long as you stay out of the big cities like Portland lol) and easy to live with! I definitely say go where you will be happy, and try it out before you buy a home or anything first, cuz you never know the little hidden faults... grass is always greener on the other side :) Hope it happens asap for you!!!!

I'm from Indiana and I'm soooo ready to go back and see the leaves change and especially be with our families again.

The closer it gets to the holidays, the more depressed i am getting. And that is not me. I have never felt like this. I miss home. I miss family. I miss beautiful places. I miss my small town. I dont want to go back to mi. Just somewhere closer to family. My sister is in tn. SO doesnt mind moving. Hes moved around since he was 12. Ive tried to find the positives, and there are very few. I miss my gramma. Shes in a nursing home, and i am terrified i will never see her alive again. I want to see my papa before he doesnt recognize me. I want to go back to doing hair, but i wont sacrifice putting LO in daycare. Before i moved my parents watched my daughter while i worked and they loved spending time with her. I want to take her apple picking and camping. I always wanted to leave, but now i wish i could have gone somewhere more familiar. With people who love me. Besides SO, seems like most people go out of their way to make everyone miserable. I want my daughter to grow up where people arent so hateful.

I always thought id love to live somewhere where it's warm all the time....till we got a rare heat wave this summer and the heat got too much lol. My car AC also broke down at the same time so that didnt help. Ireland is cold for a lot of the year which I hate, I just don't like winter. Plus it's a really damp cold so everyone keeps getting sick. My brother lives in New Zealand, their winter isn't long at all and is like our usual summer lol. So jealous!
