Best brand of the birth control pill??? Bee. 1 child; Halifax, NS, Canada 683 posts

I do not want to get pregnant again! But I'm scared of taking birth control. I'm worried about getting blood clots, depression, losing my mind....lol. I've read too many crazy things about the side effects of birth control.

All I want is a simple pill that won't make me feel any different or make me gain a bunch of weight, feel sick, lose my hair, get acne etc!

Any suggestions???????

I was on seaaonique for 4 years with no issues (except I got pregnant on it while take anibiotics) but other than that no issues! It's the one period every 3 months pill

All pretty awful for your body, unfortunately.

I can tell you I am so miserable on Ortho Tri-Cyclen right now. I usually use the NuvaRing which is much better.

I took a few different brands and never had any issues. The pill is going to effect everyone differently.

None. I don't even take Tylenol, lol. Love my body and I try to keep it natural as possible. Just whatever you do, don't get the inserts or the ones that alter your cycle.

Did you ever get yeast infections while taking that? I took it for about 6 months and got a couple yeast infections. That's the only time in my life I had 'em.... can't help but think it was the pill.

I'm the exact same way. I hate all medication. I'd use just condoms but my SO has an issue with them. It really sucks to have to take this crap but I really can't handle another baby right now :(

And by inserts, you mean IUDS? I was thinking about getting the copper one with no hormones. But with that too, SO claims he can feel the string.....ugh, can't win.
