I have 3 boys and we are currently TTCing our 4th child. My boys are 23m and 28m apart. I love the age gap! They all get along pretty well. My oldest is my right hand man. He is always there to help and now my middle son is picking up that trait too. My husband is the only that works. It has been that way for almost 5 years now. It has worked for us.

Going from 2 to 3 was a little harder than 1 to 2. You only have 2 hands and if you are holding a baby then you are down to one hand. But we just set simply parking lot rules and piled them all into the buggy.

I'm a mom of 3 boys and currently pregnant with my fourth. The last two weren't planned, but that's what happens when you aren't on top of birth control 100%. My DH and I always wanted 3, but not when it actually happened. My 1st and 2nd DS are 21 months apart and my 2nd and 3rd DS are also 21 months apart. This baby will have a bigger age gap. My youngest is 3yrs old now.

It takes adjustment with three. It isn't easy, but eventually you get into a routine and daily life takes its place. When my 3rd DS came into the picture we were financially screwed. We lost our house to foreclosure, car repo'd, getting help from WIC and family. I was and still am a SAHM, my DH was in medic school at the time and couldn't work full time plus he also was dealing with a back injury and couldn't help much with the kids. It was a terrible time. Now everything is so much better. We currently are renting, hoping to buy again next year. DH's schooling paid off, he's now a paramedic/Fire Fighter. All our current cars are paid off and we no longer need any help or aid for food etc. I'm actually more prepared now for #4 then I was for #3. Anyways nothing is ever perfect. Kids, money and life puts strain on all marriages, but as long as you keep communicating and support each other it will all work out. Somewhere along the line there may need to be compromises if work becomes an issue with you guys. We have always realized we'd need to make sacrifices and that we may never keep up with the Jone's. It depends on what you really want and what you consider important to you. Kids obviously cost money, but we're never really ready when we have them. I have little patience either, but somehow it all works out. My DH balances me out. Kids are a blessing just think about what you want. Would you forever be content and happy with two or have you always pictured or considered a larger family? Once that baby is here you'll have no regrets. They are our blessings in life and we'll treasure them always. By the way I love my large family even with all the noise and chaos, lol.

that was really nice of you to say... when we first got married SO wanted 4 i dropped it to 3 and i'm the only child so anything plus 1 is a blessing he comes from a large family and well i have a large family also except in my circle its just me! So yes we discussed a 3rd would be our final baby... just the upkeep hands on time consuming and money is all what is holding me back.. plus i have the GREAT HELP that my mom watches our girls while we work so no daycare ever paid until she can... so thats a plus for us... thanks that was nice how you put it..

I find out this upcoming Monday actually. My last appt. the Dr. was guessing girl. Hoping, but trying not to hope too hard, lol. We'd love to finally have a little princess especially since this wasn't planned and will for sure be our last. Either way baby will be loved just want it to be healthy of course. My boys are very excited and so am I. This will be new territory for me because this time all my boys are old enough to really understand what's going on and they'll actually be able to help out. Yay for helpers!!!
