I need all your tips and advice for TTC. My first two babies were easy conceptions. My second baby was conceived on the one and only time SO and I decided not to use a condom! Now I'm on my 12th failed month of TTC our third, and need all the advice, tips and old wives tales I can get. I've started using OPKs this month, and I just bought a BBT thermometer, but it says you need to use it for 3 months before you can really start to see a pattern. Is there anything else I can do or use to help increase chances? I drink green tea.... I've heard that can help? How much should I be drinking a day? I'm also working on losing weight, trying to eat healthier, and have smaller meals. I've cut out all sugar drinks, I only drink water or pure fruit juice. We usually only have a day between sex. I orgasm when he does, I stay in bed on my back afterwards. I'm not stressing, we have fun. I know people say to stop trying and it will happen. But I have no idea how you even stop trying for something you want so bad? I feel like giving up some days... but when I feel that way, I feel like curling up in a ball and never having sex again. lol. Help!

Both must take loads of folic acid and he take one helping of yohimbe root. These can be found in the vitamin section of any local grocery store. Also don't have sex everyday (could kill his potent swimmers)... sperm can last in the body for 56-72 hours (every other day is encouraged).

! You should start taking prenatals if you aren't already. Also, look into green tea a little more. I remember something about it reducing your folic acid which is why I ended up not drinking it during TTC and pregnancy. Could be wrong but its worth a shot to stop drinking it for a month or two or upping your folic acid enough where the green tea wont detract enough from it.

I've been taking folic acid tablets since the month before we started TTC. Can my body have too much folic acid? lol. I also take iron tablets.
I only started the green tea 2 months ago... but I might look in to it more.
SO has ditched all caffeine, and is only on water and tea now too. He's been working out, and lost a heap of weight (Not that he was ever over weight anyway) he's cut out heaps of junk food too.
