Dr said she will start me with cytotec or cervadil whichever I want. Opinions and facts on which is better? I'm 80% 4cm today.

I was induced with cervadil. For me, it sucked. It made my contractions come fast and very strong. (The contractions I felt at the beginning of labor were worse than what I felt towards the end with my son, who was a natural labor...) Also, they wouldn't let me out of bed with it unless I had to use the bathroom. So I spent 18 hours in bed with terrible contractions.

cervidil was tried on me..they just put a string u my vag..I was able to walk around, eat everything. I had 3 twelve hour doses and it didn't really do much at all. but I wasn't progressed either.

Well good for you, I personally would not risk my child's life with that shit.

I was induced with cervadil and it worked great for me. Started contractions enough to break my water! :)

Have them break your water or go with the Cervidil if you must. I was induced with Cytotec and had the most awful contractions..I am seriously lucky it didn't hurt my son or myself. That shit was not cool. I wish I had known more but they decided to induce so quickly and I had no idea about the possible side effects until I posted my birth story here and people were telling me about it!
