Quoting MunchkinWrangler:" That is how DS#2 is. Hes 17 months old and he eats more than his 4 & 5 year old siblings do. I attribute ... [snip!] ... do. I attribute it to the fact that they do a lot more growth and development at this age. Their bodies need more fuel!"

Quoting Mama of *3*:" I have no idea what is normal--my girls didn't eat a whole lot at this age, but my son seems to eat A ... [snip!] ... cup of grapes. He was just now trying to get his sister's sandwich :? That seems like a lot for a 14 month old in one sitting!?"

That sounds like about as much as my DS would eat in a week! He doesn't care to eat solids...unless it's junk food, like marshmallows, chips and chocolate bars...then I'm sure he'd eat just fine

DS wouldn't even care if he never drank water again. As long as my b**bs don't dry up, he's happy. I wish he would eat more though :( I feel like he's starving.

Yeah, C usually eats two dinners. Haha.
We get home and he immediately thinks its dinner time. He will throw a screaming tantrum waiting for me to cook dinner so I normally make him something else, and then by the time dinner is ready he will eat AGAIN. Yesterday we got home and he ate a whole PB&J, some cheddar cheese and watermelon... and then an hour later we sat down for dinner and he had a full serving of spaghetti, meatballs, bread & butter and cottage cheese. Haha. AND downed two full cups of almond milk. He's a tank. The other kids were this way at this age, too.
