my son will be 2 in november, and lately, he likes to like squish his foreskin and make himself get an erection. he does it. all.the.time. and he giggles when he does it. he will take his diaper off and do it, or in the tub, or when im changing him.. and ugh. i know im not supposed to like tell him its BAD. i try to re direct him, give him my phone to play with when im changing him, etc. and i know boys will be boys.. but ugh.. it makes me feel akward after having 2 girls and they never used to do that (and of course when they did it wasnt an obvious erection like boys get)

so just tell me its normal and your boys do it too... LOL

Completely normal. Just ignore it. If you draw attention to it then he will do it more often

yes I think it is very normal for boys or girls to touch themselves even at an early age. I don't have a boy, but I have read about small children doing this. I know its weird but I'm sure the novelty will wear off someday and then kick back in in the teen years lol

It's normal for girls too actually. Both my girls love their vagina. Our youngest gets mad when a new diaper goes on because she can't touch herself anymore lol.

Mine plays with it any chance he gets. Yanks it as far as he can, pushes it in, flicks it, and yeah, even makes it hard. All we ever do is if it's excessive tell him to knock it off and quit touching it, or when we're about to close his diaper tell him to stop touching it. Trust me, he'll be tuggin at that thing the rest of his life. Just wait until you walk in on it when he's older.

my son is 4 and is fascinated with running around naked and putting it on his sisters shoulders or making it stick out of his underware....he stopped doing it as much once we stopped laughing ...he thought it was a game.....my 1 year old girl has just noticed her vagina and takes her diaper off and walks around with one hand on her.....

it's normal....

funny and normal....so hard not to laugh

lol thanks guys. im not a prude by any means and i know its normal, but i dont like seeing my kid do it LOL.

my girls were never really into their vaginas. theyd grab them sometimes, but not every time, not even every day, and as soon as my sons diaper goes off its like ZOOM hands down to the p***s its like geeze.

Then you got lucky with your girls lol. Both of our daughter's love it. Our oldest likes pointing it out to us now too.

I know its normal and i dont have a problem with it at all but yeah, im with op, my daughter is three and all she has ever done is absently poke around every now and then in the bath when you are talking to her, the way some ppl twirl their hair, kind of unthinkingly.
