Quoting Summerfrost:" What I'm wondering is about her baby belly. A normal twin pregnancy would be measuring about 40 weeks ... [snip!] ... sacs. It just seems like to me that a lot of people would have had to mess up big time in order for this story to be possible. "

Yes this is true but it has been known to happen in cases of twins especially. I've heard of women who never measure off with twins too. You would THINK that with triplets the fundal height would be measuring way ahead but sometimes, you don't.

at 20 she would not be measuring 40 :?
imean generally with a twin preg you measure 4-8weeks ahead, so with one more it would be around 32 at most, givven theres no extra fluid or anything.

and twins dont always cause fundal height to measure farther.

but yes, it would have had to measure further then normal and be a cause to examine mom more

Yes I never said she would be measuring 40 weeks. That was the girl I was quoting who said that specifically. I was talking more in general that multiples normally cause fundal height to be ahead in measurements but it's not always the case in every multiple pregnancy of course. Idk I guess I just don't question things like this because I have known it to happen where twins get missed at least. And I'm no expert so obviously I can't say for certain that someone is lying in this situation. It's strange for sure and confusing why they didn't find the other two before now but as long as she's got proof to back it up, I believe it.
