I'm siting here and my heart's beating normally, but every now and then it'll throw in a random extra, hard beat that makes it feel like I'm skipping a beat. It sucks and it's uncomfortable. :(
It does this a lot. It's been going on for years, but lately it's happening more frequently.
Idk what it is or what triggers it. I'm just sitting here. :(

Heart palpitations.

I get them ALL the time. I went to the Cardiologist back in May for this. Did and U/S, 24 hour monitor and both came back normal. So far we're pretty sure it's anxiety related, I get them a lot when I'm stressed or over think things.

Those are called palpitations and are usually harmless, sometimes caused by caffiene intake or anxiety. However they can be a sign of a thyroid of heart issue of an iron deficiency.

I had a 30 day heart monitor strapped to me a few years ago and they didn't catch it either!
It's awful.
But stress may be the culprit for real. Right before it started DS started acting a damn fool about bedtime, kicking and screaming and fighting me and DH. I walked back from his room and it started. :(

My neurologist also diagnosed me with a severe anxiety disorder. :( So I guess it's time to get back on my meds, if the heart is acting up over it.

That's pretty common in women of child-bearing age. It can be related to pregnancy, anemia, anxiety, dehydration, caffeine consumption, etc. Have you ever had your iron levels checked? Sometimes they can cause a problem, but they're usually harmless. It wouldn't hurt to mention it to your doctor.

My doctor had to tell me 10000 times after I got my normal test results back that a lot of people get them and more often they are harmless, I almost told her well I'm the exception lol. It took me a while to cope with having them.

Yeah I was found to be anemic when I was pregnant, but I haven't been tested since DD was born.
They've stopped now. *knock on wood*
I'm glad to hear they're not going to kill me.

I've had them enough over the years that I should know if I haven't died from them yet, then I'm probably not going to, but every time I have an episode come on I convince myself I'm dying. :( Which only makes it worse since I go into panic attacks lol.

Same here, I had the WORST panic attacks when they first started. Every once in a while i'll get one that scares the shit out of me (usually if I havent had one in a while) but now I just breath through it.

Yeah same here. I keep having to tell myself to keep breathing to keep me from going into a panic attack.
I'm honestly glad it's fairly common, though, and that I don't have some horrible heart disorder that's going to kill me without warning lol.
