It is not possible to have a period and be pregnant at the same time.

You may want to consider some research in the near future, 30% women can have a period for up to 4 months or threw there entire period. for instance my mother had one for 3 months with me. i just wanted other mommies who had ones opinion.

You are the one tht needs to do some research. If you did you would lose the pregnancy.

You need to do the research my dear. It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a menses while pregnant. Your 30% stat is right, but it is not a period. Its pregnancy bleeding. I have worked in OBGYN for years.

No.....you cannot have a period while pregnant. A period is shedding the lining and unfertilized egg. You can't do that if you are pregnant. You can however bleed during pregnancy and wrongly assume it is a period.

I had ten days of spotting before I took a test and got a positive (at 5 1/2 weeks pg). Then when I was eight almost nine weeks pregnant I had seven days of spotting that happened when I would have gotten my next period. Neither was a period, just brown spotting.

bleeding in pregnancy should never be as heavy as a period. If you are pregnant, and bleeding like that, it raises a huge red flag.

My mom had what she thought was her normal period for the first 6 months of her pregnancy with me. All her urine tests and blood tests came out negative through out her entire pregnancy with me. Her doctors looked at her like she was crazy when she kept insisting she was pregnant. It wasn't until she was almost 7 months pregnant that they finally believed her because she came into the office pulled up her shirt and there I was kicking away that they stopped telling her she was imagining being pregnant. There are a number of reasons why a woman will experience bleeding during pregnancy such as the placement of the placenta but even though they are bleeding its not a period.
