Anyone know what some of the side effects might be from the typical 1 yr old vaccines?

My son has a rash, sneezing and a runny nose. He had a low temp (nothing serious enough to actually break out the thermometer and fight him to take his temp). At first I thought it was just another viral rash. Now I'm not sure. Going to see if it gets better after he is awake from his nap a bit longer then call the doctor's office. Bah! So tired of being in the dr's office all the time. Every month its something else...

Its in the stroller which is in our car. I'll go wrangle it out. Flu shot, and I think the mumps one. Not sure what the other was. I wonder if the Flu shot is giving him some symptoms...poor kid woke up last night every hour. I thought maybe he was having a milk allergy but he hasnt thrown up and his poo is actually getting firmer since we added more bananas to his diet.

Flu shots typically wont cause a rash, but if your lo had the MMR that could result in a rash from the vaccine.

How is lo's temp?

Weird, it doesnt show a date next to the MMR one even though I swear i thought the nurse said he got it. I'll have to call them now and find out. It says he got Varicella and PCV.

sounds like it's the varicella, hopefully it is just a mild reaction.

rashes can also mean they are allergic to something in the vaccine.

Dr's office said to give him 1/2 tsp of Children's benedryl and watch him for the next day or two unless he gets a high fever, then come in. Poor kid.
