So I'm 36weeks pregnant (9months) today and all day I have felt....Idk how to explain, just different, weird, not me.. I woke up feeling SO much more exhausted than I ever have before in this pregnancy. I know he's dropped, he dropped a couple weeks ago. But today I can't walk without being in pain, I can't even stand without being in pain! The constant pressure I'm feeling is horrible and is so much worse when I walk. Now I'm only 5'0" so even when the baby drops it is still hard to breathe for me because I have little to no room anymore. Because I have been so exhausted I feel asleep watching a movie on accident for only 30minutes and woke up and felt like I had been hit by a bus! And felt like I had the flu when just 30minutes before that I felt fine. I have a mild headache, I have stomach pain (nausea), chills, low grade fever, runny nose, and loose bowel movements. I'm peeing a lot more, but I know that's because he's dropped. I've had some contractions but I've been having those since I was 26weeks. The doctor just said they are no longer going to stop them that he had the shots for his lungs 2months ago and that he will be perfectly fine if born now.. But no I am not helping him along what so ever! I can't sleep... For the past two nights I've been woken up by contractions and pelvic pain that literally make me roll around on the bed trying to get relief some how! UGH!! I have extreme restlessness that set in yesterday and I want to clean (I know..nesting) but I just can't.. the pain in my pelvic area and the contractions that I get from moving around a lot are just too much.. Just want to feel better!!!! :(

Oh mama, I'm sorry! Hang in there! I know it sucks. :(

Have you tried warm baths?

Yes, I have. But I'm not supposed to take them anymore just in case my water breaks.. My doctor is afraid of it happening and me not knowing. It happened to my sister.. It was crazy. But I tried taking a warm shower and letting the water hit my lower back to help ease some of the pain there, but didn't help and I couldn't stay in there very long because the contractions and the pressure was just so bad.. What's even more horrible is today even complete strangers walked up to me and so "Oh my honey you look absolutely horrible and miserable are you about to have the baby?" and honestly I kinda went off.. I told them it's not polite to go up to a pregnant woman regardless of how she looks and tell her she looks horrible!! But thanks!! Ugh! I'm just over it all at this point...

Oh I am so sorry! :( You could also try a warm heating pad -- though I know there's not much that's going to give you any relief.

Not much longer, mama! You got this!

I know I don't have much longer. I'm trying to tough it out the best I can. And I've tried heating pad and everything it doesn't do much for me. I broke my neck 8years ago (from slipping head first into a four foot pool because the deck was very slippery and I didn't know it) so I have a lot of damage to my spine including scoliosis, deteriorating vertebrates, nerve damage through out my whole body, and so much more.. So there is little to nothing that helps give me relief and my ob said because of where my son is that he's constantly pressing against my spine so more than likely when I get contractions I will feel them ten times worse than most mothers get with back labor.. it just sucks... No more kids for me!!!

And Idk I just have this weird feeling like he is going to be born VERY soon.. I can't shake it. I've never tried to help him be born. I've always been trying to keep him in.. but I just can't shake it and for the past two nights I've had dreams of him being born non stop... Idk..

Sounds like you're probably going to go into labor soon. Hang in there. Put on your favorite funny movie and have someone massage your shoulders to relax until then.

If you cant take a warm bath d/t being afraid that water will break and you wont know maybe trying soaking in just a couple of inches of water??? If you lay back in it then you will get the relief on your back but your parts that would be releasing the water would be out so you would know..... just a suggestion, I would never survive the end of pregnancy without soaking in the tub!!!

Thanks! I'm just trying to deal with the pain.. I just keep telling myself any day any day now. I have my 36week check up today so my OB is going to check me for group b (which I was positive for with my first son) and check to see if I'm thinning and dilating and I'm also going to talk to him about everything going on and see what he says! Just 3 and 1/2 more hours!

What did the dr say? I was gonna comment before but saw that you were going to the dr today. I was going to say it sounds to me like you are REALLY close to going into labor soon.
