and what do you add to yours? Its so chilly out today and im wanting to make chicken soup but wanna change it up a bit how do you make yours?

I usually make it the day after I roast a chicken. I shrew the remaining meat off and set it aside, the boil the whole carcass. After a few hours I remove all the bones, skin the top of the broth and add the chicken, onions, celery and carrots and boil for another few hours, along with seasonings and spices. If I'm feeling really good, I'll make home made noodles. If not I throw in a bag of egg noodles from the store about 20 minutes before eating.




If I didn't make a chicken the day before, I use store bought chicken stock.

I make it in crock pot. And make it the day after I make a roasted whole chicken. I take all left over meat and the broth from roast and use it the next day for chicken noodle soup. I add another carton of chicken broth, baby carrots, celery and egg noodles.



Im making veggie soup today its in the croc pot already!
