Dexter had his 1 year check up today.
She said he's perfect. no concerns what so ever and she's totally happy with his development :D

He is 21lb9.5oz. 75cm tall and his head circumference is 48.5cm. which is apparently bigger than average? lol

She's told the name of a skin specialist to ask for about his eczema too. She's said it's been flared up for too long now (10months) and she's disgusted that no one has helped him sooner. THANK GOODNESS someone has finally listened to me about it! :D

He also fed himself with a spoon today for the first time. He scooped the yoghurt and put it in his mouth all by himself! He fed himself the hole small pot! I'm so proud of him :D

I cannot believe he is going to be 1 in 11 days! we've got his party all sorted and everyone we want there is going to be, I'm so excited! But sad at the same time. My little baby is getting so big!

Oh mate! I'm not even thinking about 2!! :O That's just scary. lol

How do you keep Max's hair out of his eyes? Do you cut it or does it just stay out of his eyes? lol. I'm really thinking i've gotta trim his fringe casue it gets in his eyes but I don't wanna do the first snip! I love his hair. lol.

I cut his fringe, not a drastic cut but enough to keep it out of his eyes, took him to the hairdressers once to get it cut shorter, just the fringe and she did it for

Quoting Megan and Max:" I cut his fringe, not a drastic cut but enough to keep it out of his eyes, took him to the hairdressers ... [snip!] ... after 4 weeks, have just done a little trim myself yesterday as they couldn't fit him in, quite impressed with it actually :) "

Yea my sister cuts her little boys hair by herself. I don't plan on taking him to the hair dressers. :) I'm pretty sure i can trim it myself i'm just scared. I love his cute hair! and how he looks when it's swept aside. it always just falls back in his eyes. lol.

unless you want to do a David beckham and get him a headband you'll have to cut it, I didn't want to do Max's but was so scared of it affecting his vision if I left it as it was in his eyes and he kept blinking funny x
