placenta calcifications Always♥Faithful 2 kids; CHERRY POINT, North Carolina 21639 posts

I'm 29 weeks, hetero factor v, and on lovenox. I went in for my monthly growth scan and the sonographer found some calcification on my placenta. Blood flow in the cord was great, aminiotic fluid levels were good, and baby is growing. Hes at 3lbs and in the 45th percentile (he was in the 35th last month). They are going to continue monitoring, but I can't help but feel nervous and scared about it.

Anyone go through this?

I was also on Lovenox during my pregnancy and had to have weekly BPPs to monitor my placenta and the blood flow through the cord. Fortunately, I never had an issues with my placenta. I imagine they'll just monitor you closely. Best of luck!

Thank you! I start my biophysical profiles at 34 weeks so it gives me some relief that they are monitoring me close. I am just paranoid with this pregnancy from getting pregnant while taking coumadin.
