I JUST went through this with my 11 month old. Double ear infection put on amoxicillian for the 3rd time not even 2 days later he broke out in hives all over his chest, back, and head. I was told to take him straight to the er and stop giving meds so they can document and know 100% if it was in fact an allergic reaction to the meds. LO was perfectly fine otherwise besides the spots. I would highly suggest taking her to the ER to have it documented that yes she is in fact having an allergic reaction and it can be put in her medical charts for further notice.

Ah. Well, this definitely changed our minds. :) Thank you. Husband is going to take her in now to be safe.

That's good to hear. Keep us posted. I've been there and it's scary!

What did they say at the ER?
