its the same way with my son. his dad works until 7 every night and im home with him all day so he's more attached to me because he see's me more. he loves his daddy though.

Normal. My daughter bounces back and forth. One minute I can do no wrong, the next it is Daddy. :) We spend all day together, so she tends to cling to me more but loves him very much. DH does the "evening routine" of bath and story time before bed to help connect a bit more with her.

thats exactly my daughter with my DH, she is more attached to me because i am with her a lot more because I'm a SAHM, but he still tries to spend as much time with her as possible even if that playing with her while she sits in my lap. it used to frustrate him to the point where he almost gave up and just let her do her own thing, but after a long talk, he is still trying and so far it is actually working, she is starting to go to him more often
