Yes.. I know exactly what your talking about. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant and at about 7 months I started to experience severe pain where my leg connects to my groin area. They call it Pelvic Groin Pain. I am still having this horrible pain. I can barely walk without pain. It's very hard to get comfortable in bed at night. It was to the point that I had to get put on bed rest at the end of my 7 months. Luckily with the help of my fiance I have been able to rest, but going to the grocery store, or doing any kind of errand is a chore.I have decided it is just best to stay at home and continue going to my PT that my doc ref me too. Unfortunatly it has not cured it. I am hoping that giving birth will.. I wish you all the best. I would say get on bed rest and go to physical therapy/ even if it does not help, just go so you know that you at least tried to fix it. Some docs may recommend a SI maternity belt. For me I did not find relief/ but for some do. Again.. lots of rest.. Stay strong and I hope it gets better for you as well as my self. =))

every pregnancy is different with my 1st son back in 2010 i had a picture perfect pregnancy no pain no nothing... just like GD or STREP B just because you don't have it one pregnancy doesn't mean you wont the next vice versa for the groin pain . hang in there.

its called SPD or pelvic girdle pain due to the baby of course. I've had it since i was 30 weeks I am now 36 weeks & some day are better than others. sometimes when i do pregnancy yoga it seems to stop. but usually rolling over, opening legs or lifting them or even moving hurts like heck! unfortunately there is nothing the doctor can do well that's what they told me :(

Very true! My first pregnancy was picture perfect as well. I guess I was expecting the same thing this time around :P I'm just shocked at how painful it is...I really hope giving birth fixes it! Only 4 more weeks *fingers crossed*

Hello this pain your speaking of I had this with my son 4 years ago. I has never known anyone who went thru this or had it before. It is a condition I had to go on disability insurance from 5 mo until 2 months after my son was born. It is terrible it Was like a ripping feeling every time I walked to far. I would have to use one of those elderly scooter things in the grocery stores and WalMart.(not fun) I can't remember the exact name of this condition but do talk to your doctor. Am 8 weeks with 4th child so far so good but I will see.. I do know what your going thru and will pray that it passes for you quickly. Good luck to you. Nisi in California
