A bunch of people were talking about this today.. now.. actual government shut down aside...
If every NON-emergency government building needed to shut down for a few days.. how much do you think that would save the united states per day?

IDK how much we spend on the weekends vs during the week? That is basically what happens every weekend and federal holiday.

I meant paying the employees for all the government buildings that day.. electricity and such.
