Cramping 5 dpo? akaimeridia TTC since Feb 2013; West Palm Beach, 1 posts3rd Oct
Hello. I've been TTC for 8 months, and I have normal 29 day cycles. I ALWAYS start light cramping about 5 dpo that continues through to AF. It's just normal for me. I know 5 dpo is usually to early to implant. Each month, when I start to feel my usual cramps around 5 dpo, am I out for that month? Basically what I'm asking, if I were to get pregnant, would I not feel anything that month until AFTER I implanted? Or would I still feel my usual period cramps up until I implant? Sorry that's confusing... I just can't seem to find an answer for it.

I would try not to focus too much on symptoms until around your expected period. Cramping could mean anything...could be your body getting ready for your period, could be implantation, could be gas. With my second I KNEW I had gotten pregnant when I had implantation spotting at 8dpo and then at 10dpo smells were making me super nauseous. But with this one, I was positive I was going to start my period..I had horrible cramping like I normally get when im supposed to start. I had no noticeable symptoms of being pregnant...Then as soon as I was late I got morning sickness.
