HCG levels? CCasto Due July 6; TTC since May 2013; 1 child; El Paso, Texas 1669 posts

Okay, the last 24 hours has been a roller coaster ride for me. I had multiple BFP's, and then when I went to the doctor yesterday I got BFN's from it being diluted. They took a blood test and it came back positive this morning. I got my first faint BFP 10/17 (hubby didn't see it, it was a bit darker with FMU on 10/18) and it got darker starting 10/19. They said my levels were 216 and I need to retest Monday. To me that HCG level seems really low considering the initial BFP was 6 days before, but I am not a doctor. Can I hear some other Mama's experiences with their levels? I am afraid that I will retest and find out they aren't rising as they should. Or maybe it is already over and AF will show up and ruin things. I just wish I had a window or something so I could be sure that LO is doing okay in there. Very Sad

That sounds normal to me. The levels can range so I wouldn't worry about it too much. They probably would have told if your number was abnormal. Good Luck! Try not to worry, everything will be okay! I understand how you feel though.

that sounds perfectly normal to me...my hcg levels were 60 about 12dpo which was 3 days after I found out...and 193 two days after that at 14dpo...so I think you're fine as long as they're doubling

Thanks! After yesterdays mess with them telling me I wasn't pregnant, I was a complete wreck. I am trying to relax until Monday. I guess being more aware of my body after having my first is kind of a drawback. With my daughter I was already 6-8 weeks when I got a confirmation pregnancy test, and I had to get on Medicaid so it took me a while to get to my actual appointment. This time around I have insurance and I know, so it has been brutal. I appreciate all the mamas here being so supportive. I just feel better talking to ladies that know/have experienced it etc.

Here's a chart

I worried myself sick, but doing some research helped. I hope all goes well for you.

Your welcome! I totally understand. I found out super early w/ my son & it felt like I was pregnant forever which I wouldn't of minded if I wasn't so uncomfortable lol. I'm currently TTC & feel like I don't want to know right away but I can't help symptoms spotting & testing early. Gahh!

I feel you. We got pg with dd right away, but mirena threw me off. I thought I was going to be pregnant right away lol. This was really just luck this month. Hubby is adjusting to a new job and tons of overtime. Happened the right day at the right time apparently. I was tired of charting etc. I got used to seeing BFNs and have been so excited since I found out. I am still addicted to poas lol Baby dust to you hon! Hope one sticks for you soon :)

How many DPO or DPT were you? That makes a difference. I got my first faint second line with FMU at 4dp6dt. My HCG was 109 at 9dp6dt (equivalent to approx. 15 dpo for non-IF), 296 at 11dp6dt and 7,630 at 17dp6dt. Sounds to me like your number was very normal.

I am glad to hear that the numbers sound normal. According to my calendar I should have been about 10 dpo by then. I decided this month to forgo the OPK's and charting, so I can only go based on FF calendar, but since I am irregular I am not putting too much stock in it. I went to have another test today so I will know in the next 48 hours if they are doubling like they should.
