I've been having symptoms for what feels like 3 weeks. my af is a week late, (my last one was sept 29) i've thrown up twice, had mild cramping, heart burn, spotting (Oct. 9th-11th ish?), mood swings, cravings, and itchy swollen breasts and also my face has been breaking out. I have taken 5 tests in the past week and they have all come up negative. I dont know what to make of this. has anyone else ever had this happen?

Late ovulation and you thinking your pregnant can cause false symptoms. Or you're pregnant and implanted really late.

everyones different i guess... i just had my BFP 2days ago and my last period was the 29th sept too, i had no symptoms. maybe all your symptoms could mean your either late ovulating or your body is tricking you and it could just be your period on its way... sorry test again in a wk

It is still possible you are pregnant. I have had two of my pregnancies where is took two weeks after my missed period to get a positive. I had a feeling with both, and kept testing, then finally I was right and it was positive. Both had the same due dates as it would have been from my last period. So sometimes it just takes some of longer to build up enough HCG for a positive. I just found out I am pregnant again, same thing happened. I was tested the day I was due to start, and it was negative. A week later I had a BFP! So if it's negative wait a week and if still no AF try again. Good luck, hope you get your BFP!

We're those two pregnancies boys? I read that it could take longer for a positive if it's a boy.. Something to do with lower hcg levels

As a matter of fact, yes! I have 4 boys though, so two of them that didn't happen with. I am sure each pregnancy is different. My first I got a positive the day before my missed period. With my last I had a positive a week before I was due to start. So it is 50/50 with me on whether that could be true. I really think it just depends on the pregnancy though. Lol....I hope so, fingers are crossed for a girl this time, and I got a late result. ;)

I'm in a similar situation and hoping maybe some mommies can give me piece of mind (mostly why I made this account). I am almost 6 months pp, my son was born June 8, my first pp period was at 9 weeks and so many days, my second pp period 39 days later, September 20th. I am STILL awaiting my third period. Tomorrow marks day 45. We have been using condoms, but sometimes put them on after we have just been in and out, (I know, I know). I am currently not on BC in fact, just had a script filled which I am supposed to take the first day of this non-existent period. I have taken 4 hpts over the course of this week, all of which are negative. However, I'm not convinced. Basically I am curious if I'm taking the test too soon, or is this common for pp periods to be so irregular? Any advice, comments, anything would be appreciated! Thanks!
