I have a random question... Here's why I'm asking... I left my 4 month old's Tylenol at my moms and have absolutely no way of getting it unless they bring it, and since they have my oldest son and he's been sick they don't want to come over here in case he's still got the virus in his system, which is understandable. But I was wondering, if I took Tylenol and breastfed him would it actually act like he's taken it, too? He's miserable, teething and just flat out feeling bad... I know it's SAFE to take, but would it actually go through my milk to him and give him some pain relief? He's not running any fever or anything, just in pain.

no it wouldn't do anything for him. but have you tried other things for the teething? maybe frozen teething rings? i would do absolutely everything before i give him the tylenol because he is still really young.

I've tried just about everything for him. Teething tablets, teethers, nursing, all that stuff and he was still fussing. He wouldn't even play today bc he felt so bad. Idk if that's the teething or if he's coming down with something or what but that made for an upset baby and upset mommy. He finally went to sleep an hour ago after I gave him a bath... Hopefully he will sleep through the night and wake up in the morning in a better mood than today.
